Pong with a killer soundtrack; perfect for all ages

"Bit.Trip Beat" (or Bit.Trip Beat HD the app; it's the same as the console and PC editions) is the first installment in the seven-game franchise. The inspiration is clear; "Bit.Trip Beat" is Pong with a musical twist. Players control a paddle that repels beats in different forms for three long levels, each ending with a unique boss fight. If the player misses too many blocks, you'll fail, and have to start over again. The game can be brutal, but with enough persistence, you'll be able to cruise through whatever "Beat" throws at you. Recommended for arcade fans across the globe. There's no questionable content to worry about, but the levels will probably be too frustrating for younger kids.

Fun game!

This is a game very similar to pong, where you -a little bar- repels little pixels or "bits." The controls can be a bit difficult, but I can't help but keep playing to hear the music. (If you're interested in the 3ds version, note that the controls are hard, and the music is a bit quirky/ off rhythm)

Bit trip beat & series!!

I love this game. It was pretty similar to pong only it has sweet music. Not to mention the rest of the series. You can get a free demo for the entire series on the wii shop channel and try it out for yourself!
