What’s It About?
Britannica Kids: Volcanoes contains learning material and articles from Encyclopedia Britannica about volcanoes. Players can read through all kinds of information about how volcanoes are formed and what causes them to erupt. To help make the app more of an interactive experience, players can also view numerous pictures and videos, as well as play a number of mini-games.
Is It Any Good?
BRITANNICA KIDS: VOLCANOES is designed for children in elementary and middle school, though the compilation of volcano pictures and videos would dazzle users of all ages. The mini-games are very rudimentary and should not be used as an incentive to buy the app, but the vast array of other content in this interactive encyclopedia is more than enough to make it a worthwhile purchase.
