Don't be like me

Genshin player of two years. Here, I'll run it down quickly for ya. Don't buy anything but welkin moon. Don't whale as I did. I'm 16 and I've already sunk $200+ (mostly birthday money don't worry) into the game. And for what? Just to run out of things to do, ripping my brains out during the long, unskippable intolerable story quest dialogues, to slaughter the enemies with my beefed-up whaled team. Then, do dailies, grind artifacts and log out. After about 1,200 hours (AR 57) of this suffering, I've gone completely f2p and completely casual. After that, the game was awesome, except for the unavoidable ripping of my brains out over the long unskippable intolerable story quests dialogues. But, if you like flakey lore hints diluted in litres of Paimon dialogue, this is your game! In all honesty, if you can find a side of genshin you like, you'll easily be able to breeze through the story quest dialogues. Parents, if your child is spending unholy amounts on Genshin, please at least limit them to only welkin. Welkin is the only thing in Genshin I would ever buy again.

Even if you are not a web, don’t buy this game

I think the game would be amazing if it wasn’t meant for weebs to dump out their wallets on. I mean, this game is meant to scam the weebs with skins and loot boxes. To the developers, weebs are walking wallets just waiting to have their money taken out of.

A game full of Adventure!

Genshin Impact is a game full of adventure and excitement as you (The traveler) travel through worlds based on real life places such as Italy, China, Japan and more. Along they way we take part in quests and get to know and love the other characters as we pray for them to come home in the next 10 pull XD. Overall the music and graphics in the game are very relaxing and calm your mind. Genshin Impact is by far one of the best games me and my sister have played!

gets boring easily

It's fun at first but really boring once you reach later ar levels, the lore is kinda dark and sad, there's war and death mentioned but not actually shown. Also, there's gacha/lootboxes that you can spend money on but i haven't spent any money on it. and some characters are revealing, like raiden shogun pulls her sword out of her breasts, and one character called itto has his abs showing, i rarely play now days though, and it feels good.

This game is perfectly fine, so long as the child is mature and doesn't look at the more gross side of the community

The game is really fun, and has an engaging, deep, and interesting lore. The lore of the game itself does have references to massacres and genocides in the past (eg. Sal Vindagnyr and Raiden Gokaden), but none of said massacres/genocides are on screen or in the game for you to see. The characters themselves are quite revealing (eg. Raiden Shogun having quite visible cleavage, Shenhe wearing what is basically a body suit, and Sara having a very visible underboob), which may be seen as a problem, but it's ok so long as you are mature enough to not make gross comments. The gameplay is pretty tame for an RPG, no blood, no gore, just enemies turning into ash/smoke. The most violence I would say there is is during the story quest of the character Diluc, where it is hinted he tortures an abyss mage (basically an evil wizard who tries to destroy the world in order to bring back a lost kingdom) for information. The fact the game has very tempting pay-to-win features is something I would like to warn parents about. I personally play free-to-play, which is perfectly viable. But if you are letting your kid play this game, I would recommend having a send request feature or not linking the device to a bank account if you don't want them to spend money on it. Also maybe set boundaries with your child if that is unavailable for you to do. The game does have repeated alcoholism involved, but I would not say that that is problematic, as it does not encourage it, and the characters who do said activities are usually frowned upon for drinking (the only exception to this rule being Kaeya, who is not shamed for drinking, but that is an outlier, not a trend). Also, stay away from the community on social media platforms like Reddit, Twitter, and Discord. It is full of Hentai and Rule 34 content. This is seperate from the game however, so I will not be valuing that in my review, as that is something that is very easy to avoid if you don't go looking for it. This game is really good if you want your child to learn comprehension skills, learn important messages such as cooperation, unity, and open-mindedness, or if you want them to play less violent games than others. The only real hints of sex and inappropriateness are in flirtatious characters like Lisa and Kaeya, especially Lisa who in her Japanese voice lines literally moans if she gets hit or is climbing. Over all, so long as your child has a certain level of maturity, this game is great and fun so long as you ensure moderation and restricted access to the social media community.

Religious and Safety for the Game

The game can be seen as fun and thrilling. The game is Muti-player the game can consist of all ages. Safety can be denied; and certain Characters/Npc’s and mobs are named after Demons from Demonology. Even simply it’s a Gacha Game so you pull for characters. Wishing you could say. The game also consists of Alcohol and Wine and other beverages. This game also focuses on Imaginary Gods being believed the game has a polytheistic base. The Gore in Lower to be none. But in the Manga And 2D story scenes Gore can be scene. Characters can have Traumatic Story’s or Backgrounds. The game invoices death. It depends on the Parent or Family. But for safety and for information not to be taken or told we can intrust someone over 12 to play the game.

Bad gacha

Its a decent game; few disclaimers, though. First, the pity system. In order to get strong characters to do abyss or just enjoy the game easily you have to use a gacha, heres the catch: when you pull 90 times it is garaunteed to give you a 5* but there is something called 50/50. on banners, there is a specific featured character. But once you hit the pity (or get a early 5*) you have a 50 percent chance of getting Qiqi, Jean, Diluc, Keqing, or Mona. Second, it takes over 100$ to get to pity. Yep, thats it. Third, there are decent references of alcohol. Well, mostly only in mondstadt as there is a tavern, winery, and a archon that drinks way to much (barbatos). Another thing is that when Diluc takes a heavy hit he'll say "Damn You!" and at one point in razor's quest one of the characters say hell. Lastly, make your kid play on english. And also, to those who were wondering about cleavage, there are a few characters who may have their stomachs revealed or some parts on theirbody as a whole, but nothing explicit. Should be fine for 10-11+ year olds.
