Mature content

A historical fiction novel dealing with the horrors of the holocaust. Anna abandoned by her local community is left to survive on her own. She forms a bond with the Swallow Man and lives in the woods for several years (I found this implausible). There is graphic violence (murder), implied cannibalism and child molestation as Anna matures. Near the end of the book Anna is molested by a pharmacist. Marketed for elementary children this book is for mature readers, unless supported with conversations about these mature topics.
