What's the Story?

As BUNNICULA: THE GRAPHIC NOVEL opens, the Monroes welcome a new pet to their home. Chester the cat is suspicious, believing that the little rabbit is a vampire, but Harold the dog thinks there's no cause for alarm. Chester builds some elaborate traps, but they only seem to backfire.

The change from prose to graphic novel can be awkward, but this adaptation of a Halloween favorite hits the mark. Bunnicula works well as a comic, allowing for big action scenes as Chester tries to prove that Bunnicula is an evil bloodsucker. There are plenty of other installments in the series, many suited to graphic adaptation.
