Decently written novel
Despite some negative reviews, i feel that this book does not get the credit it deserves. As an artist I really appreciate the small details of Kait's drawings that are mentioned. When I read that there was a lot of "sex" I felt that I needed to inform those who have not read the book as to what is being interpreted as sex. The book does have a few romantic scenarios and some sexual references, but for the most part it is strictly about the journey to destroy Mr. Zetes and to put the horrific deeds that have been stirred up by him to an end. I really did enjoy reading this book and would 10/10 recommend it to anyone who has an artistic/creative personality. To truly enjoy a book you have to be open to the concept of what is being narrated and just let yourself fall into the perspective of the narrator. As i said in the beginning, this book deserves a lot more credit than it is being given and if you actually take the time to read it, you will most likely find yourself enjoying it.

Awesome book!!!
This book was great!!!! It was so intense. At times, it could have gotten a little kissy and stuff like that, but, a 12 year old kid can handle that. Two boys compete for Kate, but she makes her desicion at the end. There's nothing really that extreme. One time, Rob puts his hand up Kate's skirt, but he is kind of "stupid" cause he had this accident and he forgot everything about girls, so he just wants to help give energy to Kate, so he decides to put his hand up her skirt.

Awesome for 13 year olds.
I'm 13, and i loved it! I love the night world books, so I tried this book. I'm normally a slow reader, but because it's so hard to put down, I just started the third book, and can't wait to see someone tell Gabriel off, in a way that he'll care about.

Great book for people who love romance!
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS BOOK! It is everything a tween/teen could hope for in a book; romantic, exciting, great story, keeps you on edge. I love this book. L.J. Smith is definitely one of my favorite authors out there. She always has exciting books (like this book) to read. Absolutely spectacular!
