Where to Read
What's the Story?
At the start of GOLDILOCKS: WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE, the teen hero learns that everyone in the Dwarf Forest is going to be captured and executed by the orders of the Princes Charming. She teams up with Puss in Boots, Pinocchio, Little Miss Muffet, and others to battle the royal army. What can this ragtag band of fairy tale folk do to save themselves and their friends?
Is It Any Good?
Lots of fantasy writers turn to folktales for inspiration, but this new version of a familar favorite could use an extra touch of magic. Writer Chris Colfer and artist John Proctor work well together, presenting a fantasyland brimming with possibilities. But this episode in their ongoing saga seems a little mundane, as if they're holding back something more exciting. Maybe the creators will up their game in the next installment.
