WOW!
I first found this at a 6 year old girl's house who I babysit. I read her a few pages before bed - super fun to let her flip through and pick. When I was time for her to go to bed, I took the book to the living room and read the whole thing before the parents got home. My sister also looks after the little girl and when she saw the book she asked for it for christmas so we could have a copy. It's a perfect coffee-table book, or bedtime book, for absolutely any age.
And if you're against the transgender thing, don't be. Kids don't have a problem understanding that another kid wanted to get called a different name. It's parents that refuse to accept it and should calm down.

Great Remodels
My mom got me this book for Christmas and I still like to read these amazing stories about powerful women who are independent. My little sister who is eight also read and loved this book. I made a goal to read every single story in the book and I did just that. I really loved these stories and they should be read to children to teach them Thant you can be your own hero.

Book Recommendation Review
This is a really great book! But the only reason that I think it is for 11 year olds and up is because it has transgender, lesbian, and the words "I'm really sexy" in it. However it is a great book and very inspirational for anyone. I enjoyed reading~!

These are the stories children should be reading
This is a great bedtime pick that substitutes real life heroes and great role models for Disney princesses. There are a couple mentions of people dying (several characters are dead, only some naturally) but nothing graphic and no language, sex, drinking, or anything else inappropriate. I got this for my ninth birthday and even though Common Sense Media wrote six and up this is a book that children and adults of all ages will enjoy. Parents, if you are looking for a new book for your child then look no further!

Great Book!
I believe that this is good book that should be read from a young age [3yrs] because it gives young girls, or boys, the impression that women are strong and smart rather than women being princesses that can’t do anything on their own. The stories are written and produced very well and I enjoyed this book immensely. I hope other children will be able to enjoy the experience as much as I have.
