It is amazing and there are lots of parts that are easy to relate to

Strangest, weirdest, most terrible book ever written
This book is about a kid who draws naked people. Just to give you some context. It is about a kid who does strange sexual things. It's a complete waste of time, and it's not appropriate for kids.

A BEAUTEOUS DEPICTION OF SIBLINGHOOD!!
This book was the most touching, heartwarming book I’ve ever read.
I’ll admit for a stand-alone ya book it was...averagely written...and there was little to no plot line ...
but
it made up for that because the book itself was centred and followed well created and thought out characters! Every single detail of their personalities was immaculately interwoven throughout the book- as they grow older they change in the most predictable way - but somehow the author makes it ....
heartwarming? Beautiful? Cute?
It was just such a languid, warm and fuzzy book!
There’s great characterisation and diversity regarding LGBTQA+ , race, and different types of families
( which made the book feel so ... real? )
I will admit at times it was *too* perfect and a little to expected but I liked it, it had a satisfying ending to a satisfying story of 2 twins growing up and exploring their general love for each other, their sexuality, their dreams and themselves! (Aka the most perfect & cliche coming of age story :) in a good way though )
I rated this a 14+ because there’s a sex scene, ( one that questions the meaning of consensual...)
one of the protagonists is eXpLoRinG his sexuality so there’s a lot of him just FaNtAsIsInG...
and also he’s an art prodigy who like to drawing still-life nude. ~_~ so yes...
all though nothing is VERY graphic and they all in my opinion depict healthy teenage relationships.
SPOILER
Also I think at one point the character gets drunk and attempts to jump of a cliff
END OF SPOILER
May I just add, I JUST LOVE HOW MERCURIAL THE TWINS ARE WITH EACH-OTHER . SOME THINGS ABOUT THE SIBLINGS THE AUTHOR JUST GOT SPOT ON, AND IT MADE ME SO SO SO HAPPY AND IT WAS SO SWEEETTTT
All in all a great lil book about two twins growing up on a journey of self discovery, a funny, sweet, and well written novel, with AMAZING CHARACTERISATION. :)
please read, there’s no way you can’t like it.

Terrible Novel Gets Too Much Credit
The book is terrible. While others see the joy in this novel about awaking teen sexuality, I thought the book was crudely offensive that acts as if every teen has had this moment, when really, people like me who have no sexual activity are modeled in this stereotype, as if our generation is over-sexual, when I hate everything to do with sex.

one of the best ya books i've read
thoughts and feelings about school, growing up, puberty, love—even sex, heartbreak... everything. this wonderful, heart-wrenching coming-of-age novel includes that all and an lgbtq protagonist. 100% would recommend to any ya reader.
there is a substantial amount of alcohol and drugs, though. however, the relevant characters learn to give up those habits.

Read Please!
I personally liked it and I think a lot of people love it. If you are a parent reading this and you have a younger than 14 year old child, I don't believe this book is fit for them. It has VERY intimate parts (that have connections to sex). Very positive messages though, many girls also go thrpough a long period of deppression. If you are the right age, please read it!! (SPOILER ALERT), I love that Jandy involved a LGBTQ+ character, really shows off the LGBTQ+ community.

Uh... it was boring.
I thought that this book was boring and nonsensical. I mean it was pretty good but like I wasn't interested. I skipped like 50 pages because I literally couldn't pay attention to it. I also didn't get the girl... like did she actually see dead people? Anyways I didn't enjoy this book and really thought that it would be better. Maybe I just didn't have enough emotional attachment to it or something but I didn't really care about anything that happened. I also didn't really like any of the characters... Anyway I'd suggest a different book but maybe someone else would enjoy it more.
