What's the Story?
Kid President interviews celebrities, everyday kids, and grown-ups to create 100 ideas on how to make the world more awesome. The book has lots of behind-the-scenes images and information from Robby Novak (Kid President) and his brother-in-law Brad Montague about his adventures, his YouTube show, and Robby's battle with osteogenesis imperfecta, a brittle bone disease. Full of fun ideas, inspiring people, and corn dogs (Kid President's favorite), this book can help everyone be a little more awesome.
Is It Any Good?
In KID PRESIDENT'S GUIDE TO BEING AWESOME, Robby Novak and Brad Montague have pulled together a power punch of fun and positivity. Robby's energy is evident throughout the pages, and his brother-in-law Brad keeps the fun going as the two engage in friendly back-and-forth banter. It's great to have so much information on fun, silly, and meaningful ways to make a difference in the world. The interviews with non-celebrity kids and adults who are making their mark are a delight.
This is a wonderful book to get a family conversation going about ways to have a positive impact on the world, including "[putting] the phone down."
