A wide variety of interests is incorporated into this compact title, and the winning combination of engaging theme and sparkling illustrations will hold little readers' attention. KIPPER'S PLAYTIME focuses on a subject of importance and interest to young children: play in its many manifestations.

Questions in varying degrees of difficulty, from identifying an object that bounces to a request to find a pile of blocks, offer a challenge to children in a range of ages. This colorful little book was a hit with toddlers and preschoolers alike. Younger children loved the vividly colored puzzle pieces and industriously began trying to fit them into the pages, while older kids spent more time contemplating the answers to the questions before selecting a piece.
