Witty, Engrossing, and Adventurous
Probably my favorite book of all time, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is about a group of rats with abnormally high intelligence who live together underground. They have all kinds of complicated gadgets...even an elevator! Mrs. Frisby, a widow mouse ventures into their small, underground city for help when her son becomes extremely sick and discovers their secret. There is little violence throughout the book with the exception of poisonous gas and a hungry cat. The only fault of the book was the lack of female characters; all of the high position rats were males and the females cooked and sewed for them.

The beginning of this book is boring BUT gets more exciting. Definitely keep reading it to the end. There is some paragraphs that have some ideas that might make it a bit scary for younger children but it should be fine.

Very Enjoyable!
My class and I just finished reading "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH". My favorite part about the story was when Nicodemus was telling the story about NIMH. I recommend this book for ages 8 and up because there are some difficult parts in this story. My favorite character is Mrs. Frisby because she is kind and also very brave. What I liked about the story was the Rats plan and also how the Rats became different Rats like they learned how to read and became strong. I think this is a great book and I hope you will love it too.

I'm in 3rd grade and my class just finished"Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH". I liked how the author is so imaginative when he wrote this amazing book and how he put a lot of details in the book. My favorite part of the book is when a doctor came with cyanide gas and the rats had to get out and go to Thorn valley and Brutus when he was stumbling and Mrs. Frisby thought he was dead but he was fine. I think that it's recommend for people 3rd grade up even grown ups will also like this book. There's action that kids and grown ups will enjoy. My favorite character is Mrs. Frisby and ,Nicodemus because they're brave and kind to every body and try to fix problems if there is one. If you are looking for a book to read you should choose this book. I give this book *****stars. I love this a I hope you do to it was fun reading it I could not stop reading it.

Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH Book Review
My 3rd grade class just finished reading the book " Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH". This is a great book. I recommend this book for maybe 2nd grade definitely 3rd grade and up. I also think adults would enjoy this book also. Robert C. O' Brien uses very good details in this book. My favorite part of the book was when Mrs. Frisby first met the Rats because it is very exciting. If any of you have a child and you do not know what they will like, or do not know what to get them " Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" would be the book to get them. My favorite character in the book was Mrs. Frisby because she is brave and caring. I liked when the Rats told the story of when they were at NIMH. "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" is a great book! I would give this book ***** stars.

A Third Graders Opinion
My reading class just finished "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH." My favorite part was when the rats said" We want to stop stealing", because stealing is not good! I recommend this book for 8 year old kids ,or third graders and older. My favorite character is Mrs. Frisby, because she is very brave and courageous! Mrs. Frisby went to put powder in Dragon's bowl. I really liked how the rats helped Mrs. Frisby by moving her house to the Lee Side. I will give this book 3 stars- it was't my favorite. I liked it though.
