This is such an outstanding book. Best for teens but older kids will be okay as long as they’re okay with the topic of abuse. The author beautifully represents minorities such as trans women, non-binary people, black people, people with atypical family structures, neurodivergent people, and more. Would highly recommend.

A must read
This book... wow, just wow! It blew my socks off. It’s climbed to my favorite book of all time! I love it. So much. I couldn’t put it down. I think it’s really eye opening and says a lot about our society. There’s just... small things that you link up and go... “wow” I think this is probably 11+. You could read it to younger kids, but a lot probably will go over their heads and they won’t get the meaning. Plus it’s centred around abuse so trigger warning there. But please. Do read it if you can!
