It really shows the hidden truth about coming out, the fact you aren't always going to be excepted, and the fact that nobody's family is perfect. This book would be for all ages if there wasn't sex and smoking.

I believe this book is AMAZING there are so many good role models. There is a little of sexual talk and cursing, but it isn't anything a teen hasn't already heard. There is also eating disorders,STD s, smoking,alcoholism, alcohol, and domestic violence .Through out the series gay teens go through hard times and they teach you what to do and what not to do. the book also promotes healthy relationships and safe sex. I really think any gay confused teen would benefit from this book. Sometimes is good for teens in middle school and high school to learn about these things early so they don't make the same mistakes as the main characters. I think this book will help teens except who they really are. Ones again I say this is an amazing book!
