Now, I’m no professional author, but I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to actually describe people and scenes? Or am I supposed to have absolutely no idea what the world and characters look like and not feel captivated by the story at all? Also, what’s with giving all the male characters names and not the female characters, making Marta helpless and annoying, and saying things like ‘ugh, I threw like a girl’. It’s clear that a crusty old white man wrote this book, and it’s very infuriating. The characters are boring and don’t develop, and the ‘mystery’ is pretty obvious and dull. The ‘bad words’ aren’t actually that bad, kids hear way worse these days. It’s just a pretty terrible book and all the characters are super one dimensional. Don’t waste your time with it

Good! This book has some words...... I loved the characters

This book is a good book. All the characters were likable and the story had a good plot. Though there are curse words, it’s ok to read. If you are ok with words like that and your parents are, then I would highly recommend this.

Teachers go missing, some characters briefly live in woods, two characters sneak into a persons house, but not bad otherwise and book is totally inspirational for kids.

There is one curse word, d**n. It has great messages. It teaches that the environment is at danger at a risk. And that a lot of animals are close to being extinct. This story has a lot about nature and environment.
