What's the Story?

SKELETOWN: MAS. ¡MENOS! is a cheerful story that takes place in the whimsical Día de los Muertos-inspired world of Skeletown. Fall is in the air and the main characters Skully and Skelly are raking leaves and trekking to school amid the brisk autumn wind, making it time to cozy up with a big sweater that Abuela just knitted—that is, until their cat Lulu grabs the yarn and begins unraveling it, leading the friends on a wild chase through the busy streets of Skeletown, in this exciting story told using only two words!

This vibrant picture book features adorable skeletons in a Dia de los Muertos setting, using only "mas" and "menos" to tell a fun, relatable story. The colorful illustrations and humorous text in Skeletown: Más. ¡Menos! engages young kids while teaching valuable lessons about responsibility and asking for help. The story encourages kids to think critically and make predictions as they follow the skeleton friends' escapades. No doubt the little skeletons find themselves in a few rowdy situations, but in the end, they seem to appreciate lessons learned and each other.
