Incredible!

In my opinion this book is amazing! I fell for it just after reading the first chapter and finished it in a day of non stop reading! This book contains a variety of mystery, violence and romance all at the same time. I rated it 12 and up due to there being gore and violence, sexual references and mild language. I wouldn’t recommend this for younger children. I would explain what it’s about but every little detail can be a major spoiler! I hope you enjoy the book!

Thrilling

This book is definitely less violent than the series it has a mix of romance and action which I personally prefer. There are some sexual references and minor language.

Incredible Story

This is an amazing book and I love it! It is super entertaining and very compelling to read. I love that the author changed from one persons perspective to another which showed you exactly the entire story. This story is sci-fi and interesting. I would recommend it to anyone who is not afraid of violence. In some of the books there may be one or two parts that you would have to skip.

Bellarke

Honestly I hated these books. The writing felt rushed and I just didn't fall in love with any of th characters. I loved the tv series so maybe I'm a little biased. The books and the tv series are polar opposites. The only reason I read these books was because I love Bellamy and Clarke and I heard they were together in the books. I read the whole series in about 2 hours(I'm an extremely fast reader) and it was a waste of time. The tv series is soo much better.

Best book ever!!!

This book is my favorite book ever. It has great messages like don't do anything to get arrested.lol. Great role models like Bellamy, who is a character who risked his life just to keep his sister safe. But at the same time he shot the president. Lots of violence and swearing but overall a really great book.

Gripping but much different than the TV series

I have watched the first season of the TV show. Despite enjoying it, I thought it was a bit too gory for a child of my age (I am 11 years old). I heard that it was based off of a book by Kass Morgan, so being curious, I decided to give it a read. I was shocked as the book is so much different to the TV show! It is definitely more appropriate with less GORY violence. It discusses topics such as teen pregnancy, drugs and death sentences. It does have some positive role models like Bellamy, who protects his little sister, but given that all of the 100 are juvenile delinquents, of course there are going to be characters that are murderers. It uses mild language such as "a--hole" and "bastard" etc. It isn't a long read; I read it in one day. It is a must have for fans of "The Hunger Games." I say it would be okay for mature tweens.
