Good book! Most definitely recommend for horror fans.. or in general.

I absolutely fell in love with this book. Yes, there is violence and use of profanity but whats the use of living life without words and action? This book Is relatable, even though I have not read this book in awhile I definitely want to read it again and finish the series where I had left off. The book pulled me in most certainly, I might even make a story similar to this of my own .. If I do I'm definitely going to say it was inspired by this book so that the potential people that might read my story have a possibility of checking this out. I definitely recommend this for horror genre fans. Although you might want to read into it more if you are sensitive to some topics, other than that its an amazing book 10/10.

I definitely enjoyed it

There are a few cliches from old school horror flicks but the events that unfold are pretty entertaining and well paced. There's an atmospmophere of despair and hopelessness that pulled me in and it gets increasingly more depressing into the other books (not that it's bad, it makes the books feel more 'alive.)The violence I thought was done well enough that when I first read it, the pain the characters experienced didn't feel faked. There's some swearing and there is gore (entrails, mutilation) so that's something to be cautious of. Its a bit of a roller coaster of emotions as well. The age group of readers should be around 12 or older or 11 if they're a horror fan.

ok ok I guess.....

I think that kids shouldnt read books with so much language in it. It puts things in their heads..... Im a kid and have no desire to read cuss language or speak it.

good book, might be violent and scary for younger kids...

this was a good book. i hav read the entire series and like them very much. this was advertised as a scary book, and usually i am scared easily but this didnt really scare that much. the only part i would be concerned by would be the amout of violence. it occurs after the children are possesed by vours, soul-stealing monsters. it is a bit disgusting and gruesome, and for younger kids it might be too much to handle but i thought it wwas very good. sokme breif language.

i loved this book. there are a few violent things- but its not like its extremely bad. the reason why i think there is good role modeling in this is because Reggie's friend helps her all the way, and Reggie risks everything for her brother.

The Best Modern Thriller Book I've Ever Read!!! :]

I'm deeply into modern thriller and horror books, as well as classics like Edgar Allen Poe and some Stephen King books. This book was so creepy that it made me want to read more and more and more. I love how he uses teenagers as the main characters- it's easy to relate with them, and to me, it makes the story sound more... real! After reading the book, I seriously thought about leaving my bedroom light on while going to bed- the book had such a vague ending that left me wondering and wanting more. I don't think the book was only appropriate for 17+. That rating actually sounds stupid, considering the book was written for teens, not young adults. Besides, kids love scary stories, as the book semi-implies. I think the book is fine for kids 13 and up to read. The book was really awesome, and I can't wait to but "The Soulstice"! ^_^

TOO MANY SWEARWORDS

This book had way too many swearwords. I couldn't even get through the first ten pages. I do not recommend this book for any age.
