The Field Guide: The Spiderwick Chronicles, Book 1

one of the only book series I've fully read through

Well I read the first book in like just about an hour or less. A very quick read if you ask me, but it would have been better if all the books were just combined into one. It is because in a series each book should have an ending in order to satisfy the reader. But well that is totally my opinion. But yeah it is great book to pick up. Well I would totally recommend you to watch the movie. This is the first time I am preferring the movie over the books. Well because it is just one movie like I said these books would have been better combined

Awesome story about 3 siblings who move In to a new creepy house and find a field journal in a secret library. The only thing that might be scary for younger readers is that a tiny faerie is crawling in the walls of the house an pulling off crazy pranks on the siblings. This book isn't as good as the rest of the series because it is setting up the story. I Love Spiderwick!

This series is easy to read and gets right to the point without being goofy or too simple, making it a good book for anyone to read.

it was good it has some words some parents might not like , for example crap and there is some drama of there parents being devorced so it is a little unpositive other then that the book was amazing the pictures were nice the storyline was good and id reccomend it for children 8-13
