If I'm reading this for school, your kid can read this book.

I'm reading this book for grade 9 english, and it's pretty good, very informative (idk how accurate though), it was made for the canadian reader (idk if someone from texas would like this, most likley not), and it has "sex" and "drinking" which isn't a big deal because it's part of life. This book is about a 17 year old guy named Norris moving from Montreal, QC to Austin, TX and dealing with a new school, new setting, new job, and making friends.

This was a great book! It's main protagonist has so much depth and humor, and the side cast are increasingly interesting as the book goes on. I could not put it down. After I read it, I reread it and found so much more interesting little hints of what was to come in the dialogue. Plus, it is just plain hilarious. Definitely sexual content and swearing, but if your kid can handle it, do not hesitate to give them this book. SO GOOD!
