It's a Great Book!

I really liked this book! You need to be comfortable with dirty/dick jokes. There was sexual assault/rape (technically) with Wes and ShaeAnne (ShaeAnne raping Wes), but it ended up being fine. They swore and there was the use of alcohol and drugs. I loved this book! It made me laugh and I never wanted to put the book down! Normally I hate reading, but this book made me love it! I hope to find more books I love like this!

Great Book!

I think it’s a great book for teenagers!

Great book but a bit inappropriate

This book is SUPER funny and it was worth to read it. I related to it and I think that a lot of other teens will as well. I will say there are some inappropriate jokes and swear words and sex. What other reviews say about this book I found that they over exaggerated and it really isn't that bad. Definitely one of my favorites.

Jesse Andrews mildly disappoints, again

I read Me and Earl and the Dying Girl some time ago, and I thought it was very mediocre, at best. Then I saw this book and I was like, hey, I read his one book, maybe this one is better. No. It had a lot of mature themes (which personally I'm fine with, considering I read TFIOS at the age of 10) like sex and underage drinking and not much else. My favorite part about the book was the dialogue style, which I find very unique. The plot was uninteresting, the characters were boring, etc, etc. If you're a fan of John Green and see this and think you'll like it, surprise, you won't.

Would be a good book... if it wasn't for the rape.

So, a lot of people reviewing this book don't seem to get how consent and sexual assault works. Be aware that the main character Wes is actually raped, and it really isn't dealt with seriously.
