Total Corporate Cash Stealing, Mass Produced Book
I decided to read this because my son was reading it too, and found it very disappointing. I would highly not recommend this book unless you like super cliché, horribly written, mass produced book, with another mass produced Disney JR movie to go along with it. This book is based on a Island in which all the fairy tale bad guys live on, which is probably based off of the Harry Potter Azkaban, and has no interesting characters. This is just another sad story of a corporation like disney taking advantage of kids.

Corporate Cash Grab On The Average Angst Teen
I honestly have no idea how the heck this got approved in the end. Any sane person would through it into shark infested waters before it ever got released, I have never in my life seen a book that is so pretentious in my life. Consumerism is at its peak, however this gives you the oppurtunity to talk with your children or parents about how companies try to cash in on your likes in an insensitive and shameful manner. Characters are non-existent and bring shame to the great Disney classics that haunt the nostalgia of my brief childhood. Yes, this is coming from a 12 year old.

Your kids will make you buy this, don't expect much though.
Exhausting, unfunny, and badly written, even for a cash-in this seems fairly mercenary. Use this as an opportunity to talk to your kids about the way corporations target them and ways they can learn to filter it.
