Its a Gay Narnia!
This is a required reading book for our 7th grader. As a story, it reads like the big preparation that it is--the 12-year-old boy who goes missing suddenly comes back-- out of the closet.
If you want "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," this is not the book for you. This is a message book. The transgender aunt is the character who convinces Aiden to be his true self. (!) The grammar is poor. Basically, this book takes the place of true literature and wastes your child's precious learning time. Another book that squeezes the joy out of reading with its messaging.
