Good book but very mature concepts

I think this book is very eye opening and very good. But it’s very mature and pretty harsh. This is what it’s meant to be. I read this book when I was 13 and it was too mature for me, so I recommend waiting until 15 so you don’t get scarred. There are graphic rape scenes and strong language, overall very mature. I think it has a realistic message and is very eye opening though, I recommend it.

Empowering but deep and sad details.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was empowering but there were some very sad background details and a lot of talk of rape and stereotypes around sex that make it suitable for mature readers. Lots of oppression that made it upsetting.
