Be warned…
The Wizard’s Hairy Heart is horrible and gross. I rated each story separately. Total average came out 3.4.

More than Satisfactory
Nothing special but no complaints, just a solid set of bonus stories that remind you how fun Harry Potter books were.

Four Adventure Comedies One violent
This is why I think this book should be good for ages 8 and up.
The Tales of Beedle of Bard should be good for ages 7 and up but the Warlocks Hairy Heart is probably too violent for 7 year olds. However, the other 4 stories have comedy and adventure in them.
Kids who like Harry Potter should enjoy this little add on. I like that it is similar to the Harry Potter books. It just gives you that feeling that it is embedded deep in the Harry Potter history. Especially when you're reading Dumbledores commentary. This book also has good messages in it.

Good, but J.K. Rowling has done better
This book is good, don’t get me wrong, but those of you who have read the Harry Potter series have seen better and won’t lose anything by skipping these. I would still recommend that Harry Potter fans read this, but there’s not a problem if you don’t. These four stories are entertaining and only one is gruesome, but you might want to have a parent OK this book first. The good thing is it’s a pretty quick read and once you get started it won’t be long before your finished. *Note that reading the footnotes and commentary isn’t necessary. Just read the story part*

awesome collection of short stories
gr8 book 4 kids reading HP, especially Deathly Hallows. Other reviewers- it's not SUPPOSED 2 b as good as the HP books, it's a set of short stories not a novel! But still fab.

Fun and Imaginative!
J.K Rowling writes five charming Wizarding fairy tales in The Tales of Beedle the Bard! This fun read is even greater when reading along side Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Tales Of Beedle The Bard
This is not one of J.K. Rowling's best, but is still something nice and fun to read.
