What's the Story?

THE TAYLORS follows Taylor Bennett (Teffy), a rising fifth grader nervous about starting middle school. Her first day takes an unexpected turn when she discovers three other girls in her homeroom are also named Taylor. Luckily, each one has a nickname to keep things straight and the four instantly become best friends, dubbing their group "The Taylors." The girls set their sights on two big goals: scoring Eras Tour tickets and making the school's cheerleading squad. Despite a few bumps along the way, they stick together, supporting one another as they work toward their dreams.

Kids say ( 1 ):

This book is a love letter to Swifties, with each chapter named after a Taylor Swift song and a playful countdown to the Indianapolis Eras Tour show displayed at the top of the page in a beaded friendship bracelet design. There are dozens of little easter eggs for eager Swifties—from nods to lyrics ("Let's fight dragons together; I cry a lot but I am so productive") to shout-outs to fandom characters ("I'm an Aimee")—making it exciting for anyone who knows and loves Swift's world.
