What's the Story?

Jelly is anxious on a solo adventure in THIS BOOK IS DANGEROUS, navigating the ocean without cheerful pal Narwhal. Even after declaring that they don't do dangerous, Jelly is surrounded by dangerous things. Jelly encounters sea serpents, a cannon, a giant shark, and more. Even though Jelly warns the reader not to move a muscle or make a sound, shaking the book might be their best chance to get out safely.

The warm, goofy adventures of friends Narwhal and Jelly continue with this delightful picture book from Ben Clanton. This Book Is Dangerous! engages readers right away, asking them to please not do anything that would put an anxious jellyfish in any more danger: no moving, no noise, and definitely, absolutely not shaking the book. Readers can choose whether to be still and silent, but things might turn out better for Jelly if they move just a little…
