Let your kid buy this game!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a simulation video game where you move to an island and form relationships, build a house, and partake in many fun activities that are great teaching moments for kids, including managing money, time, gratitude, and giving back when you get given. I assume many kids would not see these themes but as I was playing this I definitely noticed how the developers implemented them during gameplay.
The characters are all nice and friendly, you can develop relationships with all of them and create lasting friendships from giving presents and just simply chatting with them.
For parents-
This game is 100% designed for the kids market but can be enjoyed by anyone of all ages. There is no violence. Full stop. The language the animals speak is gibberish, murmering, inaudible, and there is no language in the conversations, whatsoever. There are no sexual themes. It's entirely clean for kids to play, you won't be having to look over their back as they play it.
All in all, a wonderful and importantly SAFE game that you should even encourage your kids to play, proving a fun and friendly sandbox environment thay provides good teaching moments and fun activities paired with absolutely ZERO adult content.

Awesome game
It’s really cool but you can open a custom designs portal to designs made by other players and its super rare to ever see anything inappropriate. The most inappropriate thing ive seen is like a dress that added a little cleavage with a little line to make the chest look like a females chest. Another thing is that the currency in the game is bells, and for most of the game you have to pay debt with bell. And you can go in HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF BELLS IN DEBT. So if your kid is a little bit too young and stressed easily this may not be the game for them. But this game also gives you ability to decorate your island and house, add mountains and waterfalls and change ur island, play and have fun with other players, meet new villagers and make new fun virtual friends! I totally suggest this game for YOU!

10/10 recommend
This is a very great game for all ages including young kids. It has real life bugs , fish, fossils, and flowers which I can recognize from playing it. It lets you be creative, letting you make your own pixel designs to decorate your island. It is a relaxing game. The only thing to be cautious of for the very little kids is that if you have a Nintendo online membership, they will have access to dream addresses and custom designs that can occasionally contain inappropriate content. However I’ve had it since release and have only come across 2 or 3 inappropriate things which I reported.

Anyone can play this.
This isn’t my type of game personally and I find it a step down from previous games in the series but if you like this, that’s cool. And if you can read and write, you are old enough to play this game.
