Must play Batman classic is surprisingly dark

This is one of the best games of all time that everyone should play. A gritty, darkly psychological take on batman that took me a little by surprise in that regard. Taking place in an asylum, the extremes of mental health are explored in parts which some may find disturbing. There are nightmare sequences which are quite unnerving even as an adult. Little to no strong language or sexual content. A lot of violence but just batman beating up thugs, no blood except for around the asylum walls. The overall atmosphere of the game would be too intense for younger teens.

A Classic Thriller

I think this is probally the worst in the Arkham Series but its bit bad its one if the best games ever that just sayd how good the rest are to. This is probally the only game in h tho e series i think should be a 11+ because the only bad stuff is just Batman pummeling thugs in a creepy mental Asylum/prison. So this is a great game and i recommend it. My son is 11 and has played all 4 games and he can handle it all, so i say go ahead and get this for 11+

Excellent game

This is the first in the iconic Arkham series and probably the tamest. The violence in this game is limited to Batman fighting thugs with his bare hands, sometimes the thugs will use pipes, knives, tazers and guns to try and kill Batman. There is no blood unless you count the walls which are decorated in barely visible blood. The language honestly isn’t that bad. If your child goes to a public school then they will hear worse everyday. Words include sh*t, ass, damn, hell one or two uses of b*****d and b*tch. At one stage batman has to follow a whisky trail ( and later a tobacco trail ) but no one is shown actually using these substances. As for sex, there is really nothing apart from some female villains wearing revealing clothing. Ok for 11 years and up

It's not that bad

There is some mild violence, (Punching, kicking, sometimes broken bones) and mild language. There are also some light horror elements, (Scarecrow missions)but it should be fine for most kids 12 and up and some younger kids. It all depends on the child.

The butt review

This batman game is very good. Pretty easy to play with no safety of privacy concerns. There is no sex or drugs or drinking but there is some violence where batman beats up the joker and thugs.

Great Game

This game is really great especially if you're a fan of Batman. It has a lot of action, but Batman does not kill anyone in the game. There is no blood and has a quite interesting story. However there are some swear in the game, but they are typical for a T-Rated game.

Fun game

The game has a bit of language and violence but you can choose not to repeat it. Over all this game should be fine for 11+

It is a great game for those who are fans of the batman universe, and a great primer for any young teen into bigger games

I played this game around 11-13 years old. I was a little more mature than the average kid, mainly due to the fact that I was in boy scouts and was a big leader in the troop at the time. I got my Eagle at 14. This game did not effect me in any negative way. I knew Batman was a character created in someone's imagination and just enjoyed the game as a portal into this new world. The main thing parent should know is that this is not JUST a batman beat-em-up game. Batman is faced with rescuer missions, puzzles, escapes, and detective cases. It really engages the mind to think in an entirely new way. This really is an entirely new way due to the extreme cases Batman is put in. It stretches the mind to solve puzzles outside the norm.
