Very fast paced hack and slash, big breasted witch, and two twins with daddy issues
Most the game involves impaling, including the intro cutscene, but due to Japanese censoring, the implement of Dante is made barely visible, only played in a flash.
The story is good, and there isn't necessarily a moral behind it, so younger teens can easily follow, or sometimes relate to a character.
The game requires intense focus, especially on boss fights, but a small tutorial in mission 1 is provided; on the subject of mission one Dante is impaled a few times by about four or five sins, but blood isn't necessarily visible, and he kinda just shakes it off anyway.
In mission 9 there is a witch in very revealing clothing, and her health drain is through kissing (strange), nothing too over the top however.
Overall I think for younger teens, they should absolutely give the game a try, kids below 12, it's a meh

It’s pretty good
It’s a fun game and it’s not as inappropriate as other games your kids might be playing it has the occasional curse word but not that much the closest thing to nudity in the game is nevan which does not show anything and I played this when I was 7 and I turned out fine in conclusion no Karen your child will not go shoot up a school after playing this game over all as long as your child is mature for a 7-9 year old it should be fine

The video game version of Game of Thrones, somewhat.
This is an enthralling game originally released for the PS2, but it is super hard and can be extremely violent at some points. The quality of the game is very good graphics, but it’s not a game for younger teens.

Classic hack n slash still holds up?
This is my favourite Devil May Cry game ever. This had the better and more deeper story. Violence is frequent and sometimes gruesome. There are blood sprays and bleeding out. Language is VERY rare: a-word.

hard to say, depeneds on the kid
hey i'm playing this game right now, i think it may have some violent stuff but it's not to bad. Halo has way more blood then this, i would never let any one under 13 play though. it's not a hard game but you have to know what your going, i started play when i was about 11 i know i said that no one under 13 should play but i was a little more muture then other 11 year olds. the game has some scary monsters too, but nothing that would give nightmares.
