Really good
This is a steampunk Victorian style stealth game in which the player chooses one of two playable characters with supernatural and amazing powers, it is fun to experience and experiment with the special abilities unique to the certain character chosen and the infrequent swearing is not much of a big deal and very mild. Certainly recommend this game and it is fun if the teen is okay with the content.

AMAZING GAME!!
This game has an amazing story, and it tells so much about how one thing can affect everyone’s life. You play as either Emily or (a guy but I forgot his name). The opposite person who you don’t choose ends up being turned into a statue at the start of the game with dark magic. The goal is to complete all he missions and rescue them. I’ve played through this game and beaten it 3 times. And the story is amazing. The only thing you should worry about is the violence. You can cut off heads and arms but there is minimal blood. It is cartoony but still graphic. If your child is mature enough for that then they should get this game. There is no inappropriate stuff I’ve ever seen in my 3 times. It rarely ever swears and I’ve only ever heard “d*mn, and sh*t” nothing worse. So parents if your kid wants this game, let them get it!!

Awesome but a little mature
I absolutely LOVE this game! I think Bethesda did a great job but I have a few concerns.
First, the pros. Dishonored 2 has a great story to it! I love the fact that you can choose your way of playstyle. You can kill or be sneaky. For example, there are quite a few people you have to defeat. You’re givin the choice of killing them or finding another solution. As a tip, the more you kill, the ending is worse. You can either choose Emily Caldwin, or Corvo Attano. They both have similar abilities, so there is really no ups and downs about one or the other.
Now for the cons. Unfortunately there are more cons than there are pros about the game. A lot of people say that this game should be 13+, others say 17+, like the regular age. There are definitely reasons for it being 17+. Mostly, the gore. In the trailer there are only little spots of blood, and no body parts come off. But in the actual game, body parts come off, ALOT of blood, and if you put the body in a little pond with fish, the fish eat the body right in front of you. You literally watch little by little come off. There is also some nasty parts, for instance, in some buildings, like a doctors office, there CAN be a head, a finger, or other parts be laying on a table. From what I’v seen, this is part of the gore. There are also a few bad words, from what I’v heard, there was sh*t quite a few times, f**k was heard maybe 2 or 3 times, and I haven’t heard anything else. It can also be a little creepy as to some people saying, “Ill come for you!” and things like that. It can also be a little hard for younger people, but if you are good at games like Batman or something, you should be fine.
Overall, I feel that the game is amazing. If you watch the trailer and think, why is this 17+? Now you know, the age is made 17+ for a reason. Just know, you have a choice of killing or not, if your parent walks in seeing that, you better hope they don’t know that you don’t have to kill people. I’m a 12 year old saying this, if you don’t believe me, go find out yourself.

Just as great as the first one
I am 13 and personally, the game is great and I think the PEGI rating is over the top. There IS bad language but no sex and the game has a really interesting storyline. There is not TOO much gore. Just a sidenote: I have a gaming PC and I run it on that, but if you are getting the PC version be sure that you have a powerful enough computer. can I run it is az good website to see.

Fun and pretty apropriate.
It is a very fun game the only problem is the amount of violence. There is a lot of dismemberment including cutting people in half decapitation and slashing off arms and legs in ridiculously violent ways.

Great game but can be gory at times.
Dishonored 2 is a great title and sequel to the first Dishonored game. This game has a great story line, I highly recommend you to pick it up, but Parents need to know that alongside the fact that the game does not require you to kill anybody, the game has quite alot of violence/moderate gore when using your sword and powers to kill enemies. Some of the violence can include slitting throats and slicing bodies in half. The enemies also tend to use alot of swearing e.g fu* sh* and ass. Although this game has its reasons for being rated a PEGI 18, a mature 13-14 year old could play this game as most of the unappropriate content in this game is shown frequently on television,

Very violent but good game
Dishonered 2 is a great game but people are really underestimateing the violence. You can chop off heads, legs, arms and throw them around. You do very gory taketowns and can set people on fire or watch them be slowly torn apart and eaten by rats. This game can be absolutely brutal. BUT you don't have to kill a SINGLE PERSON the whole time. There aren't many games that offer this. You can knock people out ect. But the non-lethal ways of taking down some targets are questionable, for example you can take away a witch's powers for the non-lethal route of one target, but this means Delilah (the main evil boss) will have no use for her and no doubt have her killed. There are absolutely no sexual themes in this game except one line where someone said about not having men and women together because they can't keep their pants on. There is little to no swearing. Your character talks according to how you act, so if you kill loads they may comment on how they would like to have blood flies hatch in the corpses of their enemies. Although you can complete the game with killing no-one, it is very hard. You feel a great deal of accomplishment when finishing the game game with no kills, but it sometimes feels all too fun to murder everything that faces you, with multiple powers that can make the game a breeze when killing. There is no drug use or alchole use. If you decide to kill your decisions have consequences, more corpses lead to more bloodflies and misery, but there isn't a greatly noticible impact when comparing the two side by side. The ending though does dramatically change based on your decisions. This game can be very very violent and brutal, and you can even choose to kill your companions if you wish. The decision between non-lethal and lethal is all too easy when you can blitz through the game in only 3-4 hours or so on a lethal run. This game is a hard but very fun stealth action game with great storytelling, but extreme violence if you want. Overall this is a game for teens or up, and if you don't like blood then DO NOT touch this game.

Amazing
Amazing and beautiful stealth action game with a unique style and gameplay elements. I played through 5 times now and each time I find something new.one major element that sets this apart is the fact that you have some very major choices. First, you can chose the main character, empress Emily Kaldwin or her father, lord Covo Attano. Both with a wide range of unique supernatural powers to chose from, including no powers. You can also chose how to play. Lethal vs non lethal, stealth vs assault. How you play determines the endings. The atmosphere is very dark and violent. Some cutscenes and dialogue have less than savory language including one woman who drops an F-Bomb every thirty seconds or so while gambling. Many kill-cam moments have decapitations and dismemberment, very gory. You can knock people out then deal with them non lethally or, dismember them while they can't fight back. Very beautiful, well made, violent, and wonderful. Do play.
