Great Game they can do by themselves, Great game.
I love this game for my 4 year old - he can do the whole thing by himself and gets him moving even though he is playing a video game. I actually have the 'dinosaur rescue' game, but am sure they are similar. It is a short game, but I think that is perfect for his attention span and I don't want it to be long - I don't want him to be playing a video game all day.
He also doesn't seem to mind and plays it over and over again.
I love it.

Good for my 3 & 4 year olds
Diego has to help dinosaurs.
This is the first Wii game we have for our kids. It took them about 10-15 times of playing to be proficient at it. We had to help them the first three times they played.

great for younger kids
is a great game for young children to do. I had my pre-schooler stand up and we did the moves together the first few times playing the game and that is how he plays it. Very cute. Does go through the levels very quickly.

Great game for younger kids. Not highly educational but still a good fun game.
My 5 year old daughter loves to play this one. She can do everything herself and loves to earn badges throughout the game.
My 3 year old son can do most things in the game by himself after a few minutes of me helping him and showing him the controls. He likes a game that he can do himself.
I like that the game is easy for young kids and doesn't made things too hard. It doesn't let them get into areas where they can't continue the game and makes good use of the Wii motion capabilities. My kids favorite is shaking the trees. I like that the game saves often so it's easy to limit their game time. We often play this game as a family and all act out the motions together.
Some parents may not like the overall theme of the game. Diego is rescuing the animals from a mean magician who uses magic to create problems for Diego and the animals. One of Diego's tools is a magic drum used to undo some of the spells.

My 5 year old son and his 10 year old cousin both loved it
A great game that kids can really play, with minimal frustration and assistance.

Great for pre-schoolers
My son LOVES this game!! It's one of his favorites to play! It's easy to perform the simple actions in the game, not too many buttons to hit and try to figure out. It's a perfect beginner game.

After watching my older two sons play wii, this was the first game my two-year old could play be himself. He loved it!

This was almost too easy for my 4 and a half year old.
We bought this for my son when he was 4 and a half. He tired of it pretty quickly. It is very repetitive. He never plays it anymore (6 months later). The good thing is that my almost three year old can now play it with a little help. It does have some benefits for developing motor skills--having to beat a drum, swim, push rocks, climb ladders etc., using the wiimotes. The game is well made and would be excellent for a first wii game for a young child; however, a child that has a little experience with the system may loose interest quickly.
