Kid reviews for God of War (2018)

Absolutely loved this game. This game doesn’t necessarily focus on the blood and gore but it heavily depends on it. While playing it myself I wasn’t set on killing all the monsters, or seeing how tough i could get. I was more focused on the story and the gameplay. If you want a game for your kid to play without any focus on blood and gore then don’t choose this game. This game is great for people and children who understand what this game is trying to convey. If they are just little they may see that there is so much gore and violence that that’s how people acted in the real world. This game isn’t necessarily for people in an age group but more for people who can understand.

It Is A Good Game But Not For 9+

Have you ever wanted a game that involves fighting gods as an insanely mighty warrior with a frost axe? Then this game is meant for you! The video game called “God of War” is a very good game and a smart purchase because it has some really fun and smooth gameplay with a quality story and characters that will keep you hooked to the end. God of War has some puzzles and challenging gameplay that will really give an amazing and fun gameplay experience. The story is also just amazing with great characters and an interesting plot that has a bit of every genre. If you like games with quality graphics too, then this is also your game because the graphics are very smooth throughout the game. The only problem with the game is the fact that sometimes it will crash or not save your progress which can sometimes get annoying but it is not a huge problem because it doesn’t happen all the time. I would truly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a really great story with fun gameplay and quality graphics. This game is rated M for Mature, and you can cut people in half, tear them apart, or shove your axe into enemies' faces, but the violence is mostly only on monsters who either have different colored blood or no blood at all. It will sometimes use words like f--k and s--t but not that much. I would recommend this game for 14 or 15 years old but it's not too bad. Truly though, this game is a true masterpiece and when I was playing I really enjoyed it and was one of the best experiences I’ve had.

This is a great game! The story is addictive and there is so much to do after you finish the main story. Some characters swear a bit more than others but overall I think if you child watch’s anything like B99 or The Office they can handle the language. There is some bloody takedowns and fight scenes but they are very mild. The story is different from the older games. Kratos is no longer a killer seeking revenge on mortals, he has channeled that anger and has also become a father. The story is based around Kratos teaching his kid life lessons and defending their allies from danger. 10/10 game in my opinion!

Great game. there's some blood and gore but besides that i would say kids 12-13 should be good to play

BOY!

The message about family and controlling your anger is spectacular. The father-son dynamic between Kratos and Atreus is such an amazingly written and a funny part of the game. There is plenty of violence and gore. The game goes in depth about the consequences of killing and having power. Overall it has great role models and it's extremely entertaining. Has a bit of swearing and talks about drinking. You can do easy mode which makes it really easy to play but when playing on medium difficulty, some parts of the game are very tedious and hard to complete.

Not for kids under 10

Great game. A bit of swearing but kids can get past that. Amazing character development. Graphics are amazing. There is a lot of blood in areas where there is graphic fighting which may be a problem but it isn’t too scary.
