A great game, but a bit more mature than you'd expect.

**SPOILERS AHEAD** My Friend Pedro is a 2D fast-paced shooter / platformer about the player mindlessly murdering everyone just because a banana tells you to. It has some blood and gore, but that can be turned off. It is also revealed in the last level that everyone you've been killing is actually your family, and then Pedro tries to force the player to commit suicide. Surprisingly mature for a mere T rating, but not TOO bad,

The gore is not ultra realistic.

My Friend Pedro is a game where you play as a person in a black and white mask with a magic banana supporting you throughout the adventure. Sure yes, there is gore and violence, but it is not even THAT realistic. Plus, you can turn it off. There are guns, but come on, Gen Z/Alpha kids that are 7+ see guns in games almost daily. The magic banana idea is also funny. There is swearing, but the same thing, EVERYONE hears a swear word atleast once a week. You kill enemies with guns, like in any gun game. And there are also many mechanics which makes the game more fun and not boring. There are 3 difficulties, Normal (I think) hard and bananas. Normal has normal healing speed and enemy durability shooting speed blah blah. Hard has reduced healing speed and increased enemy durability shooting speed blah blah. In bananas mode you can not regenerate without medkits which drop from enemies and enemies are way stronger now! There are also some little jokes and a storyline. This game is very fun and best for teens.

It's great

I've finished the entire game a couple dozen times at this point, and have no complaints! Warnings: There is some slight ketchup-y blood and gore in the game that can easily be turned off in the settings All the characters talk in text-boxes and sometimes some light swearing (s#!t) can appear very rarely throughout the game (though I've sometimes went through the entire game without seeing it once) Review: The entire game consists of doing cool flips while shooting at enemies who, after playing the game even a small couple times, aren't all that difficult even on the hardest difficulty (though I might just be a god gamer or something). The controls shouldn't be that difficult for kids 12+ if they are already acquainted with a keyboard and have some knowledge of where all the buttons are (you actually need only 7 buttons on the keyboard that are all in finger-distance and a mouse to finish the entire game). The entire game is about 5-6 hours long for the first playthrough (though I have been playing videogames all my life so don't quote me on that) and after that I'm able to beat the game in about 3-4 hours. There are bossfights in the game which are much more difficult than the rest of the game and sometimes a little unfair so you might need to help your kid out, but that means trying to help by playing a game which is pretty difficult to control if you haven't gotten the practice from the tutorial and the rest of the game before the fight. Speaking of the tutorial, there is one and it does a good enough job at explaining the controls of the game without being long and tedious I'd say this game is 12+ with gore turned off, and 14+ with gore turned on I'd give it a 5/5 as someone who, as I've stated before, has played through it a couple dozen times now

AWSOME!

this game is perfect for action lovers it does have lots of blood and gore but it can be turned off with a couple button presses. It does say s*** but that is rare so there is not much profanity

Awesome Matrix Style Game with cool mechanics

Imagine someone made a game that mixes ballet, weapons, and slow mo in one. That’s my friend Pedro. Regarding violence, the game can get pretty bloody and gory, but with blood turned off, the game could be rated 13 and up. With blood on, the game is probably age 15 and up. There is light language, but nothing f-word level or up. No sexual stuff, but lots of violence and some language.

It shouldn't even be rated this high

This game is super fun. I've completed it many times. It has really light swearing now and then. Its pretty much a kids game it should be rated E in my opinion.

Some violence

Very rare swear words (limited to the s word) and violence is not that bad.

very very good shooter basically tame deadpool the game

without blood it's a 10+ but with blood I'd say it's an 11+ so yeah not really much to say apart from a few s**ts in dialog (no worse than any marvel film) it's quiet tame

Extremely fun, dumb, arcade, action shooter

I played this in practically one sitting, it was so good, it’s a little awkward to control but once you get it down you’ll be doing back flips off walls while simultaneously shooting any enmities you see. It’s extremely fun to experiment your “focus” ability where you slow time down to plan out maneuvers, dodge bullets, and shoot at the same time. It is fairly gruesome but the blood can be disabled. I love the game and I let my little brother play a bit (gore off, of course) and he absolutely loved it. The worst thing I saw in the entire game is occasionally, an enemy will have a text box with s—t subtly being displayed but only the eagle eyed will see it.

This game is really fun and injoyable. Although I do recommend that kids 12 and up play because of the blood and some gory images, but you can go to the settings of the game and change it so that there is no blood when you kill someone. Overall it’s a great game that is far worth the price and that I suggest getting!
