Cleanest FPS for everybody
Though you can shoot, snipe, blow up and ram enemies, no blood is contained either. Pegi rated the game 16+. But honestly it should've been 12+. You are only shooting armoured things; armoured vehicles and enemies. Armor does light when damaged. The game is extremely difficult though.

Awesome MMOFPS
Planetside 2 is probably THE best sci-fi out there. It’s free, can be played on both pc and ps4 and has large scale battles with all the weapons and vehicles that you could ask for! Would definitely recommend to adults and to kids that are mature enough to be exposes to the constant action and violence

Bad sci-fi MMOFPS needs work
So basically the plot of the game is that a planet is at civil war. There are three divisions. You can choose which one(s) you want to join. Controls are simple. The "norm" for a FPS. But vehicle control can be hard at times, especially with aircraft. This game has a really hard time letting you leave an area. Also, It's basically just impossible to join a match period. It never lets you join a friend if they are playing the game with you. Plus, the "join combat" feature will sometimes send you into another PLANET! This game needs SOOOO much work. But of course, there is combat. Combat is 1# priority. It's all bloodless, but seemingly constant as well. Players die from getting shot, blown up, ran over by vehicles, etc. When vehicles are destroyed, the explode in giant explosions. Weapons Go from pistols to RPGs. Some weapons shoot lasers, while others are traditionally lead based. Players can be thrown/jump off cliff/ledges. But it's all bloodless, and nothing worse than Star Wars Battlefront. The only iffy thing is the un-moderated online chat, but depending on the distance of your avatar to theirs, it effects how well you hear them. There is some consumerism. You can buy in-game currency with actual money. Other than that, it should be fine for ages 9+ if they can get the game to freakin' work properly.

Really cool FPS
It's a not too violent first person shooter, which could be your game of this type, like it is too me. As well as this it's also really fun with and epic style.

Don't bother
Really happy to finally get the game. Spends few hours downloading. Great now I can play! oh now I have to make an account, OK takes me few minutes no 20 minutes to get account sorted. Getting ready to play, game opens and spends another few hours downloading content.

A fun, bloodless shooter that's easy to learn
Planetside 2 is a nice, beautiful game with guns, strategies, puzzles, and tons of vehicles and SHOOTING! As far as violence goes, when you die your arm spazes out and you see your (bloodless) corpse on the ground. No Sex, unless a female character. Their breasts jiggle under their clothes when they sprint. There is no language, but teammates can talk to you. A fun game for kids looking for a positive shooter.

Great MMOFPS.
I love this game and have been playing for nearly as long as it came out. It's a sci fi shooter where you can have battles with up to three factions and over 200 other players in one battle (that is if you have a high powered gaming rig). Parents should know that this game has voice chat capabilities which allows gamers to communicate with those around them (proximity chat) in their platoon/squad and their outfit (aka clan). All these settings can be turned off, but I do not recommend doing so, as it defeats the purpose of having a tactical advantage. So in the end, if you aren't ok with your child hearing the (potential) swear word from another player, I would suggest turning off the voice chat volumes. Beyond that there is very little game dialogue (as it does not have a campaign, it's all multiplayer), so the only bad language you'll hear is from other players. This game is the very reason why ESRB cannot rate online experiences.
