SUPER cool indie horror game!!

Chapter 1 review: I love Poppy Playtime!! Definitely one of the best indie horror games similar to Bendy and the Ink Machine and FNAF Security Breach. In Chapter 1 Huggy Wuggy chases you in the vents in this epic chase scene!! Which is kinda scary but really cool! Besides that the game is mostly about solving puzzles. There are some dead toys with blood stains around the game and when you knock Huggy with the box he falls down and hits the pipes and leaves a blood stain. Besides this the game is not violent and it's not very gruesome. Puzzles are difficult but not too difficult, and the grabpack mechanic is awesome!! Chapter 2 review: Now that Chapter 2 is out I will update my review. Chapter 2 is definitely scarier than chapter 1. Everyone thought the vent chase with Huggy Wuggy was really scary, but the chase scene for chapter 2 with Mommy Long Legs is definitely scarier, as it is a lot harder to know what to do and where to go on your first playthrough. Puzzles are definitely improved (puzzles in the first chapter were great but the ones in chapter 2 are more difficult but in a good way) The chapter goes for about 2 hours instead of 30 minutes which is great. The main thing parents need to look out for in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is that Mommy Long Leg's death scene is actually pretty brutal. She gets ground up in a machine and her body spurts blood when she dies. The death is much more intense and gruesome than chapter 1 Huggy Wuggy's death. All this being said Chapter 2 is INCREDIBLE! In fact the whole game is incredible and I can't wait for chapter 3!!

Fun but Scary

It is fun but the jump scares are scary. Kids younger than 11 should stay away. This game is a great (and horrifying) adventure, the game keeps you on your toes and, sometimes, even gives you puzzles, but here’s the catch, this game is HORRIFIC. It scared the night outta me. Jump scares, terrifying lore, blood, and suspense, this is a great horror game. but don’t (please) put younger kids on it.

The game itself is fine and all. It’s just that kids like the game so much that the game has some unofficial horrible YouTube kids stuff. And I always see young kids carrying around a huggy wuggy or a kissy missy plush. I can’t believe that kids these days are growing up with stuff that isn’t appropriate for their age. This game is more suitable for teenagers.

Amazing game

This game is the best! Definitely recommend for people 8+ unless u are a wimp, no offence. Oh, and tho it is a bit disturbing in some parts of chapter 1 and 2, they are both some of the best games I’ve played in the past few years! Really looking forward for chapter 3, great games, keep up the good work, everyone loves poppy playtime, nice challenging game, doesn’t take too long to beat, cheap game, not overpriced, IF YOU HAVENT PLAYED IT YET, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!? GET IT NOW! For real, it’s a brilliant game, the graphics are outstanding, the gameplay is challenging and fun, the monsters are creepy and unique, but this game is not really for people under 8 or wimps. 5 star game, ty for reading if u did :D

Would be decent...If it was not aimed to children

Before a couple of days ago, I knew nothing about Poppy Playtime, until I have seen lots of kids playing it and got curious because it looked way too scary to be a kids game. I searched up "Poppy Playtime Age Range" where I found a Developer vs Parent argument. The developers aimed the game to children as young as 8, and I have even seen younger kids playing. Parents thought this was unacceptable as the game was so scary, some suggested 13+ would be a better target audience. Keep in mind this is an indie game, which means no company publishes it, which means they can place whatever age rating on it the devs want. The game features lots of blood, jump scares, horror puzzles, terror chases, lore built into the game itself, and violence, too much for a game rated 8 and over. In my opinion, keep your children away from it until they turn 13, as dangerous things had happened from the game being aimed to such a young audience, such as therapists being needed and even once, a child almost took his life by jumping off the window, until his parents came and found him. This game would be decent--if it was for older audience.

Definitely scary with intense chase scenes and puzzling puzzles. Death scenes are the most graphic.

Fun but too scary for young kids

Fun but a little bit scary with things like scary monsters, blood, orphans being experimented on to be turned into living toys, wouldn't recamend for kids under at least ten
