A bridge from old to new shooters.

VERY gory. A child is brutally and bloodily impaled on a spike onscreen after his sister is exploded into bloody chunks. Another is seen crawling into a vent only to have gory chunks spewed ojt the other side. A man is gruesomely processed by machines that impale and liquefy him. Enimeies spew and splatter blood and gib into gore. Regular f bombs. Bare breasted villianess. Quite varied if not deep gameplay with many unique and satifying weapons/battles and haunting/trippy environments. Some coold puzzles and good pacing with different gameplay scenarios. Story is pretty silly. The spirit revival makes game too easy.

Innovative art design makes Prey

not good for young kids

Very creative game and well-made but not for younger than 17, I only played the demo but the use of the f-bomb was all over the place. The violence is gory and even young kids are killed, I even got a queasy stomach when the wraith possesed this one kid and made her throw her sister up against an impaling spike, not nice.

This is a bad as it gets

Think of cannibalism, porn, murder and excessive violence, and whether you want those images flashing on the screen in front of you, before you purchase this gem.

A funny, yet scary experience

Unlike many games that take on the "save the wold from aliens", Prey has been able to create a new world with twisted reality and the ability to walk in Spirit mode and also on the ceilings and walls. If you are a gamer that liked Doom 3 or Quake 4, then you'll certainly enjoy this game. The game is not particularly violent, if truth be told. It is more of a shocker, with aliens attacking you from the ceiling or walls and things appearing from places you wouldn't think they would. I feel that any gamer who would like a mildly challenging game that does not end too quickly would really enjoy this.
