great song list
While Guitar Hero World Tour has a more extensive selection of songs, Rock Band 2 features everything from classic rock and metal to pop rock and alternative music.

Great for (all) ages
Great game. Although there is a slight bit of swearing, nobody is really paying attention to the lyrics.
They're too busy being a rockstar.

Great rythem game for all ages.
Rock band 2 and 3 are both great games. The only concern i have in 2 is the start up screen. my mother found it to be quite violent. I felt the same and I felt like it almost didnt belong in the game. So as long as you skip that and a couple of the bikini's and halter tops in the rock shop and with the exception of some mild lyrics this game is for all ages.

It is easy but some of the guitars are large so the little kids cant hold them upright, some launguage, but no violence.
