Best skate game available

Skate 3 is easily the best skating game, perhaps the second greatest sandbox after Minecraft, and is still relevant today. There are still secrets and tricks being discovered now 12 years later! There is no blood (however scraped knees are visible) and there is very mild profanity (if this is an issue a simple solution is to turn of dialogue in settings) and I saw someone saying there was nudity but this is false, the closest to nudity is being in boxer shorts for men and the female custom character can wear a sports bra and gym shorts. I suppose some people may find the "hall of meat" disturbing but I think for most people it is just great fun and totally non essential. It is by far the best skating game and the community if fantastic.

One of the best skateboarding games out there

Skate 3 is by far one of the most iconic skateboarding games out there, and for good reason. Instead of mashing buttons like Tony Hawk games, the control sticks are used, which is more realistic to how skateboarding IRL feels. Note that there is some questionable material, some of the boards have sexually suggestive images on them, but nothing a 12 year old couldn’t handle. Online lobbies CAN get questionable as well, although it is possible to enjoy the game without playing online. On some of the race challenges pro skaters have cigarettes in their mouths, although smoking isn’t promoted. There is some swearing, although nothing that bad, (d#mn and hell mostly) and nothing a 12 year old can’t handle, your kid has probably heard worse. You can annoy pedestrians and hit them with your board, although in the loading screen tips it advises against this. If you take a bad fall, your character gets bruised up, and there are “Hall of Meat” challenges that reward breaking bones, but most kids have the critical thinking skills to know that breaking 25 bones and getting up to do it again isn’t how it works in real life. If your kid is the type to do whatever they see in games, you should probably explain that dropping in on the roof and doing kick flips off it isn’t a good idea in real life.

Skate 3 - 6+

Easily the best skateboarding game out there, with almost no age restricted content. The large open world, character customisation, and extensive amount of tricks make this sandbox game exciting for skating fans and non-skating fans alike. The only violence occurs when you bump into pedestrians or hit them with your skateboard too many times, they will run at you and hit you although a lot of times the physics make this look unrealistic and comedic. On rare occasions, antagonising pedestrians will cause them to pull out a taser and shoot you, making you fall to the ground. Swearing is infrequent and the words that do appear are light. For example, failing a challenge will, at times, bring up a message that includes the word cr*p. Other than that, the only age limiting factor is skill. This game is the easy to play, hard to master type. You are only limited by the amount of tricks you know and have the thumbwork to pull off. Very young children may have trouble learning the controls. Great game!

Suitable for 13+ unless you have very strict parents.

I played it and it is pretty fun! It's basically a skate simulator. The things they say are a bit much but great game anyway! I really enjoyed it :)

Skate 3 is an amazingly fun game but some challenges can be hard to do.

First of all I LOVE this game, not because of the tricks or anything like that, the fun part about it is the "Hall of meat" now the name might sound like a museum filled with different types of meat, but it's actually where you get to do tricks and bail off your skateboard and break your bones to earn points and achieve goals. Now I know what you're thinking, "Isn't it a bit graphic and violent?" and sure your character appears with bruises and scrapes, they aren't very detailed, besides you can turn the hall of meat mode on/off in the settings (if your a cautious that your kid might attempt these daredevil-like stunts). To conclude this review I'd highly recommend this game to 10+! :)

Best Skateboarding game of all time

There is a bit of violence such as hitting people with your board and getting lots of scratches and blood patches on your body but it’s pretty basic. The career mode is so engaging and it’s so much fun to just ride around on your board and do tricks that u know you’ll never be able to accomplish.

Great for 8 and up

To cut a long story short the game is completely fine for 8+ there is no swearing unless only a few s bombs and the only violence is when you fall of your skateboard.
