Nathan Drake's Greatest Hit

Among Thieves is the 2nd chapter or a sequel to an already great title called Uncharted. It was created by Naughty Dogs, the same company behind the Playstation's iconic mascot Crash Bandicoot. The Uncharted 2 game is simply the best in the series, it's a 3rd person shooter mixed with an epic treasure hunting journey that is second to none. The story in this game is very well done. The visual graphics is also a big improvement from the first. The music and sound effects is very good. The gameplay is pretty easy, you control a treasure hunter named Nathan Drake and you take him and his team to an exciting and thrilling adventure near the country of Nepal. Just like the story of Indiana Jones and Lara Croft's Tomb Raider, any Uncharted title is a must have for all Playstation owners out there.

Beautiful music, beutiful story line However.........

Graphics are really good, story line is great, it has very beautiful music. I like how fluid the game is. However the level of blasphemies is not worth it it is what ruins this game. It uses the Holy name of Our Lord in vain as in a negative connotation. When nathan opens his diary and you go to Sulley's (basically a friend of the protagonist)pages you read that in almost every sentence they use the name of God in a blasphemous manner while they try to be humorous. The drawing gs are humorous but the quote of using the name of God to condemn is not humorous that was highly offensive. They should have used another word or some other expression. Why use blasphemies I do not understand. Unfortunately, There is without giving details a very sensual conversation in one main scenes. (Nothing visible nor shown. I felt uncomfortable so I ended up skipping the scene. Whe you play it the first time it does not let you skip it so I turned off the screen.) (There is three inferences in a conversations) but one was the main one. That main scene was not necessary. The game It is violent but the violence is in a pg13 level. No blood. If the game removed blasphemies and a scene of the conversation and the insinuations then the game it would have been more enjoyable and I would have given it a 5 star. However unfortunately that was not the case. And no there is no way to filter the profanity. In the end I ended up getting rid of the game. It was not spiritually beneficial.

The cinematic and music is beautiful. They story was interesting. First of there is no profanity filter whatsoever! However the profanity is too much and the complete unnecessary blasphemies some written in the character's notebook. There is a times the vain use of Our Lord's name. This game is not for kids nor adults. There is suggestive themes in particular one scene where the main character allows his ex-girlfriend to get inside his room and have unnecessary conversation. which is then followed by a very sensual scene.(no description needed for the rest) they do not show anything nor take off anything but let's just leave it at that for the review. You can also skip the scene. In multiplayer there is sacrilegious elements where you can fight in an abandoned church mission. This is not for kids nor adults. If you are truly a Christian do your self a favor please do not buy this game at all.

Violence not very heavy

This game is a great game. The violence, although containing blood, is not that bad and the sexual scene described by common sense media is not 16 rated material, you do not actually see anything sexual happen.

single player its o.k. multiplayer is not for any christians

problems in multilayer you fight inside a catholic fort where it was before a catholic monastery(sacriligeous element) sensuality: there is an unnecessary scene in the game which you can skip (nothing revealing but it is too sensual as one of the characters goes to the room of drake(main character)). as well as the comments are highly inappropriate. Any other than that it is well made interesting story line just unfortunately the elements above are the only problem.

Fun exciting game

This is a brilliant game which is totally appropriate for anyone who has started secondary school because of its fun gaming and positive role model. I think that the violence is really not strong and seeing it I think that this game really should not be a 15

A PG-13 action movie equivalent game which may sometimes lack imagination but excels far beyond your average action game.

You play as Nathan Drake, a treasure hunter and descendent of Sir Francis Drake, who will plunder tombs and temples, climb and scale walls, and will engage enemies in shootouts. This game often has a lot of cliches and story is weak, but the action here is just so much better crafted than your typical run-and-gun game. It has some memorable moments, including it's puzzle-laden temples and a sequence where you must run across a moving train, while avoiding the obstacles that block your way. There is violence here and it pushes the T-rated boundary at some times, but it's not excessive, making it suitable for teenagers and tantamount to a PG-13 rated action movie. Yes, it's your typical action game, but it's extraordinarily well done.

Edgy Cinematics

I find this game quite borderline due to the cutscenes or movie moments (whatever term you prefer) where significant amounts of blood are portrayed. Besides that I find nothing too wrong with this game.
