What's It About?

VTECH INNOTAB SOFTWARE - BRAVE follows the story of Princess Merida as she struggles between her parents' expectations and her own dreams. When, in desperation, she seeks the help of a crafty witch, things start to go downhill. Merida must make things right, fend off danger, and keep it all secret from her father. The VTech InnoTab Software - Brave cartridge includes an eBook of the story, as well as 3 learning games, and two activities. Kids help Merida make some spells with the witch, navigate a horse through obstacles, and practice archery, and then guide Merida's brothers through the castle in search of a key. While doing all that, kids practice logic, problem solving, and math (fractions!). They earn gems to use in the activity area, which includes designing your own tapestry or archery course.

VTECH INNOTAB SOFTWARE - BRAVE is a wonderful package. The games challenge kids to solve puzzles, explore, and engage in the story. The game provides many options for designing a tapestry and a clever reward system that encourages kids to return to the games to earn more gems. And for those who prefer some arcade-style gaming, the build-your-own archery course is sure to be a hit. The activities all seamlessly join together and none of them feel superfluous. It's also refreshing to have a "girl's game" focused on problem-solving and math. But have no fear, this title will appeal to boys as well once they see all of the activities. VTech InnoTab Software - Brave is an all-around quality title that kids can enjoy.
