Very Good Gangster Drama

Ok the game itself can be pretty tedious. Yet even then the game at times uses the repetition to build story and character devlopment, such as an early quest that Shows what Kiryu would go thru to get somethimg without ruining someones life unnecesarily. Unlike the more content rich Yakuza 0, this is one of those games that is more Movie than Game (ala Metal Gear Solid) and the star rating is for that merit alone. The core gameplay is pretty adequate tho despite being supremely repetitious. Some bloody violence including shootings and thier aftermaths in cutscenes, stabbing/ bludgeoning in combat, withlarge pools of blood forming under fictims yet dissapearing quickly. The combat iself unlike the story scenes are flashy and arcadey so nothing feels too grievous in play. Frequent F words yet not as much as western gangster dramas or even the english dub of the game released on PS2 12 years ago. Some sexual material discused, sleazy video shops display thier lewd (but not explicit) contents.

Very Good

To give this game a 3/5 is criminal. The story is fantastic and the combat system is just what it should be, easy to pick up but hard to master, and doesn’t get boring.

Fantastic Mafia Style Game

Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of a game called Yakuza from 2005, Yakuza Kiwami tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu and an orphan he find on the journey. The game has a Fantastic story and graphics while all the voices are done in Japanese meaning you need to read subtitles during cutscenes.
