Interesting and different film with extreme violence and mature content

I enjoyed Assassination Nation. It was something different and I liked the story. That being said, it is twisted and not for everyone. It feels like it is trying to be more of a teen movie, but this is as hard an R-rating as you can get. There is lots of discussion about sex throughout. There are a few sexual scenes as well. Language is strong, but most of all the film is intense, dark and violent. Rape is both joked about and attempted. Lots of gun violence and spraying blood. A body is seen in a bath tub with puddles of blood. A throat is slashed with razor blades with oozing blood. Characters are brutally beaten and someone is shot repeatedly with a nail gun. A character is tortured in a bath tub. The film does mix in a sort of dark sense of humor, but it is still intense and unsettling. I would only recommend it to adults who have a strong stomach for violence and want a different type of movie.

This film had a great positive message and was amazing right for any 15 year old with good message about social media safety but it's curse more than violence
