Dark, but warm

It’s a dark comedy, with a warm underbelly. It’s one of my favourites to pull out over the holiday season. Definitely not for younger viewers though. I’m surprised it got 15 rating in the UK.

Awesome, but NOT for kids!

Very raunchy, but very funny! Billy Bob Thornton plays his role so well and does not hold back, and Tony Cox is quite his partner in crime. Although there are no positive messages, the boy who befriends Bad Santa (Billy Bob Thornton) is a positive role model because of how innocent he is throughout the film, but Bad Santa drinks too much and is wasted most of the time, which does not make him a positive role model. Violence includes robberies, and there is plenty of sex, and in language, there are plenty of uses of “s--t” and “f--k”. This is NOT for kids, but it is entertaining for many adults who like raunchy humor.

Great movie but not for kids

One of my favorites but definitely not for kids. Lots of swearing, drinking and sex. Wait until your kids are mature enough for this type of movie.

Good holiday comedy that delivers raunch and fun!

This is a pretty good film. The acting was pretty good, however, the plot could've been a bit more. The film does contain plenty of frequent language including uses of f**k, s**t, and much more. In addition, the film's main character drinks heavily to the point of vomiting. Also, the film contains plenty of strong sexual content. This involves multiple sex scenes that include taking place in a car and hot tub. Also, there's plenty of crude sex talk as well. Surprisingly, the film contains some violence too. This involves plenty of brutal fist fights, chases, an attempted suicide, and some bloody wounds. Overall this is a naughty film for kids, but a nice film for teens 17 and up.

Hilarious but not for kids.

This movie is the funniest Christmas movie I have ever seen but it has strong sexuality and vulgar language. F bombs are used throughout and there are 3 wild sex scenes, one in a car, one in a dressing room and one in an indoor hot tub.

Hilarious, raunchy, XXXmas movie with an edge

I can't tell you how many times I've seen the first 15 minutes of this movie on basic cable, with almost every word muted. I can see now, seeing the entire product, this movie had me laughing out loud so many times. There are fewer things funnier in a holiday movie than watching Billy Bob Thorton interact with little Brett Kelly. Their chemistry is fantastic, and even if you do cringe when jokes about little people, minorities and especially Kelly's weight are brought to the forefront frequently, you can't even try to hold back your laughter. Is it broad? Sure. But it hits so often you'll forgive some of its flaws, because a movie about a swearing, grimy mall Santa isn't aiming to win any awards. It's a hilarious premise fully delivered on, and you should watch it (if you're an older teen/adult) every year right after "White Christmas" to complement the nice with the naughty!
