Bad Santa is a 2003 Christmas crime black comedy film directed by Terry Zwigoff and starring Billy Bob Thorton, Tony Cox, Bernie Mac and Brett Kelly. Sex, Romance and Nudity(5/5): Willie and Sue talk and Sue reveals she has a fetish for Santa; she refers to it as a “weird childhood thing”, and Willie says “'So’s my thing for t*ts.'” Before than, we see them having sex in a car, no nudity is visible but they are shown to be wildly thrusting and Sue keeps moaning “'F**k me, Santa!'” Later on, Willie and Sue are shown having sex in a hot tub with Sue’s side breasts visible, unaware that Thurman is watching. During the same montage as the hot tub scene, we see underneath a door with feet shown with their pants and underwear down as we hear dialogue implying anal sex. Willie ogles women frequently, and we see these women through his perspective with close-ups on bikinis and buttocks. A man gets confused by a woman and believes she’s flirting with him, so he flirts with her, however, he learns that she’s underage. Sexual dialogue is graphic. Drinking, Drugs and Smoking(5/5): Cocaine is briefly used in one scene. Smoking is frequent, including some marijuana smoking. Willie is an extreme alcoholic, often becoming so drunk that he cannot function. During one scene, Willie shows up in costume as Santa belligerently drunk in front of a bunch of children and scares them all horrifically. Violence(5/5): Some of the violence is quite intense. After Willie sleeps with a woman, a drunken man comes up to Willie and recounts a traumatic encounter he had with a mall Santa as a child. The man than tries to r*pe Willie, pushing him up against his car and aggressively thrusting against him, however, he stops when Thurman sees him(the scene is dark but comedic). A man is killed by having a car run over him, with blood coming out of his mouth. Thurman is bullied by a group of boys who give him a wedgie and verbally torment him. Thurman cuts his hand and has a bloody injury, Willie pours alcohol over his hand and Thurman screams. Fights are frequent, with punching, shoving, kicks to the genitals and frequent verbal abuse. The subject matter of jokes is very dark, including murder. Some gross-out humor is used, including urination. Willie tries to commit suicide by running his car in the garage, but after Thurman comes to him with a black eye, Willie stops the suicide attempt to confront the bullies and tell them to leave Thurman alone. (SPOILER ALERT) Willie and Marcus’s robbery plan fails and the police try to arrest them but Marcus engages in a gun battle with them. Willie escapes and is shot multiple times in the back when he is found by Thurman’s house, blood splatters everywhere but somehow Willie survives. We later see Thurman cleaning up the blood from the attack and we see the bullies harassing him again. Thurman than kicks the lead bully in the crotch. (SPOILERS OVER) Positive Messages(1/5): Willie goes from being a depressed criminal alcoholic to a depressed criminal alcoholic who cares for and tries to protect a child(some progress is better than none!). Positive Role Models and Representations(1/5): Many characters are criminals and robbers who even will stoop to murder. Willie has somewhat of a redemption in caring for Thurman but is still not aspirational. Watching Experience: Nothing of note with my experience regarding mature content. Quality(opinionated): (My rating) Rated R For some sexual content and brief nudity, strong language throughout including some slurs and crude sexual references, some bloody violence, excessive drinking and some drug use.

Too naughty for kids; nice for some grown-ups. - CSM Haha! That's funny! This movie is naughty!

This movie is really funny and entertaining to watch but it is way too much inappropriate.Many sex scenes were shown.Police did shootings.Santa was drunk and lots of drinking.Strong language is used.This is a great and funny Christmas classic but I recommend this for adults and not for kids and teens.

I watched this movie when I was 10 or 11 and I did it behind my parents back. It is insanely inappropriate and filled with sex. I understood this at my age because I am mature for my age but many kids aren’t. Do not watch this as a family if you are under 15 because it will be insanely awkward. However it’s also incredibly funny and a great choice to watch with friends.
