What's the Story?
A ruthless hitman (Jack Kesy) reevaluates his life after a near-death experience in BANG. But getting out of the business won't be easy, as his change of heart ultimately makes him the next target.
Is It Any Good?
Painfully cliched from beginning to end, Bang offers no hint of originality to boost the mediocrity of it all. Turning up the intensity of the action, thrills, and violence does little to smokescreen the lack of good acting and relatability of Kesy's character. The overused hitman redemption trope falls flat, and the only redeeming quality is Peter Weller's ability to hold the audience's attention as a sadistic crime boss Unfortunately, this is a very juvenile attempt at an action-thriller with little restraint, self-awareness, or a critical editing eye.

Can a movie make a morally flawed hero relatable without approving of their violent actions? How so, or not?
