Drugs and Alcohol

The movie is essentially based around Drugs and Alcohol. There are also a lot of sexual things mentioned like masturbation, sex, etc. Swear words are obviously not excluded, there are many, many of those. However, the message of the movie is great for teens. Essentially not to give into peer pressure so this is a great movie for teens despite the swears and sexual stuff. Even though most teens know and have either heard or said most of all the swear words. Same goes for sexual things, most teens have experienced sex Ed or have gotten the sex talk in general. There is no nudity and there are no scenes where sexual activity is displayed though there are scenes that make it obvious that it has happened. Happy movie watching!

Learning opportunity

Although the movie has very strong parts to it. The last 30 minutes shows what happens when you are under the influence and how it can really affect you. I think kids need to see this so they can learn from it

Good Lesson

This movie follows the adventures of Moe, a 16-year-old who is heavily influenced by his college-age stoner friend to make bad decisions mostly surrounding substance abuse. As a teen, I strongly related to many of the themes of the movie such as peer pressure and the desire to fit in. Overall, this movie shows a good example of how what seems cool is not always good and ends with a good moral of the story.
