Okay for older teens and up
Lord Shinshiro is a pretty good fatherly figure in the fact that he cares deeply for his disciples. He apologizes when necessary, condones bad language, and gives respect when owed. Although, there is quite a few cuss words shouted out throughout the film. There is a small amount of drinking and one reference to weed. The fights scenes are quite bloody and violent which would be too much for younger viewers, but I think okay for older teens and up. Some of the young adults acted immature at times, but I thought was accurate for the age range because in reality they would still be growing and learning as people. It was always strange for me when teens and young adults acted too mature in films because it would create too much of an unrealisitc ideal of perfectionism and adulthood for viewers of a similar age. They made mistakes as expected but learned and grew.
