A Great Coming of Age Film

Recently I watched this movie and found it to be a great movie based on the screenplay by Neil Simon. I think this would be good for any mature child or teen. I say this mostly because the topic of sex comes up quite a bit. There is a whole scene where the main character has a conversation with his brother about masturbation and the main character constantly wants to see a naked girl or woman and has tried to see his cousin undressing. This movie doesn't show any nudity but it was a bit descriptive. The movie also briefly mentions that the main character's brother had been with a prostitute. The movie had a bit of swearing as well. They use the words 'shit' quite a lot and they use the word 'fuck' once. The film also uses the words 'damn', 'bastard', and so on. The movie also has a bit of smoking and drinking but I don't think that's a big issue. A character smokes and the main character's mother talks about a man in the neighborhood whom she thinks is a 'drunk.' He does drink but I don't think too badly. This movie is perfect in my opinion because I feel that the characters are relatable. They have the same questions growing up and shows how we would want to be free to make our own choices. Neil Simon did a great job at capturing that in his screenplay and the film lives up the same standards.

This title has:

Too much sex
