was pretty bloody for The time. Two people in beginning were shot point blank with a shot gun, blood then squirts out in huge amounts. There was a surgical scene afterwards for the character with the shot gun wound. It felt very real and suspenseful! There were a few other shootouts in this film that were bloody "which I do not want to spoil" , but it was not as graphic as first mentioned above. The swearing is present here, but not constant, about 3 uses of H*** and 1 use of Bull***t. The main character "Steve McQueen " is seen in bed with his girlfriend " Sex is implied." There also was a make out scene. A poster in the background has a women mostly naked, and is shown in a sexual way. This movie would defiantly make a PG-13 rating today. The reason why that it has a PG rating was because back in the day, there was no such thing. there was G, PG, R, X. rating. I think this is a 3+ instead of 2+
